Program Description

Our Honours Bachelor of Business Administration program is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills in business administration through a unique blend of business courses and specialized streams, which build on the foundation of well-rounded management education including accounting, digital business marketing, and data analytics.The program is a four-year Bachelor degree where the first four semesters support students to establish foundational knowledge and practice in business administration toward building specialized knowledge. From semester five onwards, students will be able to choose to continue in General Business Administration or select one of the three specialized areas:
  • Accounting
  • Business Analytics
  • Digital Marketing
The students will have an option to specialize in one of the above three areas by choosing electives from the preferred area of specialization. Students, however, will have the option of completing a general business degree by by selecting from the three focus areas to develop a more rounded skill set.  Students choosing to specialize in Accounting, assuming they have met the minimum grade requirement, will have completed the preparatory courses required for admission to the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP®).

Program Highlights

  • Students may choose to complete their degree as business generalists, or, to specialize in one of three areas: Accounting, Business Analytics and Digital Marketing.
  • A full semester Internship (co-op) with leading businesses in the community, and globally.
  • An Applied Learning Project in the final semester where students will have an opportunity to apply various decision-making skills in a real-world business situations.
  • Through case studies and simulations, you will put your skills into action to solve real-life business problems
  • Courses are taught by a faculty group comprising of academicians and industry experts.
  • The program covers all the functional areas of business in a global context with a focus on decision-making skills.
  • Accounting stream courses are recognized by CPA Ontario as preparatory courses required for admission to the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP®)
