Program Description
When you choose to study Psychology at Brescia, you will be given the opportunity to explore the complexity of our mind and behaviours from a variety of perspectives. Uncover these perspectives by learning about topics such as theories of personality, how the brain gives rise to behaviour, and the application of psychology to educational contexts - in Brescia’s Psychology program. Under the guidance of dedicated professors, you will learn how to answer questions using experimental design, work with data, and how to interpret published research. You’ll use your research skills in a variety of dynamic courses, including: Fundamentals of Forensic Psychology, Neuroscience of Motivation and Emotion and Psychology of Eating.Outside of the classroom, you have the opportunity to be involved in the Brescia Psychology Association (BPA), and to collect data for your own research projects. As a Psychology student, you may choose to complete a fourth-year thesis option and work with a faculty mentor on your own research project. In the Psychology program, you will be able to build a wide social and academic network you can leverage as you start your bold career beyond Brescia.Extra Notes
