Program Description
When you choose to study Power in History and Politics at Brescia, you will be given the opportunity to explore your political passions and educate others about the effect history has on our future. Dive into the impact of environmental leadership, understand the irrationality of society or discover the influence of power in an unjust world – in Brescia’s Power in History and Politics program, you decide! Under the guidance of your dedicated and academically-recognized professors, you will enhance your research, writing and ethics skills through a variety of dynamic courses, including: The Virgin Queen, Parks, People and Power and European Witchcraze: Crime and Deviance in the Early Modern World. Outside the classroom, you have an opportunity to participate in experiential learning and be placed with local government officials to learn first-hand the reality of civic leadership and political influence on society. You may also experience a placement sifting through archives to uncover significant historical events. In these placements you will not only build your network with peers and academic professors, but gain connections with local influencers and change makers.Extra Notes
