Program Description
The Automated Manufacturing program at Sault College will help students gain knowledge, expertise and professional skills related to computer numerical controlled machined (CNC), additive manufacturing (3D printing) and robotics applications and automation used in various sectors of industry. These industries include precision machining shops, automotive, manufacturing, food packaging, medical, aerospace and many more. This program features new, state of the art CNC mill and lathe equipment, 3D printers and a new world class laboratory equipped with the latest robotics equipment installed in a simulated manufacturing environment.Other Requirements
- Advanced Diploma , Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with minimum 50%. It is preferred that students have an educational background in engineering, or an acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education (as determined by the College).
