Program Description
As a Hospitality – Hotel and Restaurant Operations graduate, you efficiently handle the many moving parts of organizations in the vibrant hotel and restaurant industry. This program starts in January and does not have a co-op term.
- The Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake is located in the heart of Canada’s hospitality and tourism market.
- Program shaped by industry leaders and focused on current market trends.
- Applied educational experiences in our beverage, culinary and restaurant labs, which integrate hands-on learning into the program.
- Hotel property management systems and restaurant simulations are offered which enhance the learning environment and provide a better understanding of industry processes.
- Students complete this program in less than 2 years. Program is delivered term one through term four as a continual program with no term-off.
Other Requirements
- Grade 12 with 50% or higher from a recognised institution. Recommended: Financial Accounting – Grade 11 or Grade 12, Hospitality and/or Tourism, Information Technology Applications in Business – Grade 11
- Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
