Program Description

As a Human Resources Management graduate, you possess specialized knowledge in labour law, occupational health and safety, labour relations and compensation and recruitment, enabling you to work in all aspects of HR.

  • Applied learning opportunities including an internship with 300 hours of practical HR experience.
  • Connect with industry leaders via guest speakers, alumni, industry events and associations including the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) and the Human Resources Professional Association of Niagara (HRPAN).
  • Courses prepare you for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and/or Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designations. Courses required to write the Certified Human Resources Professional Knowledge Exam (CHRP1) and Certified Human Resources Leader Knowledge Exam (CHRP2) in order to achieve your CHRP and/or CHRL designations, must have an overall average of 70 percent, with no course mark below 65 per cent.

  • Minimum 50% in Bachelor’s Degree in relevent area.
  • Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. All required courses = 55% required.
