Program Description

As a Winery and Viticulture Technician graduate, you are a key member of the winery management team with the expertise required to develop, plant and maintain a commercial vineyard; manage daily operations; and sell and market wine.

Other Requirements

  • Grade 12 with 50% and above. Maths, Biology & Chemistry required.
  • Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
