Program Description
As a General Machinist, you will have the ability to set up and operate a wide variety of precision metal cutting and grinding machines utilized in this growing sector of specialty machining industries.

Other Requirements
- Grade 12 with 50% and above. Math required. Recommended Courses : Manufacturing Engineering Technology – Grade 11 or Grade 12, Technological Design – Grade 11 or Grade 12
- Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
