Program Description
As a Landscape Technician graduate, you are well-equipped to plan, design and develop beautiful and sustainable landscapes for residential and commercial clients. This program starts in September.
- Campus serves as an outdoor living lab, providing unique practical learning opportunities.
- Indoor heated workshop plus horticultural yard including safe equipment training on large and small power equipment.
- Design studio provides an optimal learning environment to gain a theoretical understanding of landscape design.
- Gain experience through community landscape design/construction projects, and a co-op work term.
- Graduates are in high demand.

Other Requirements
- Grade 12 with 50% and above. Recommended Courses : Biology – Grade 11 or Grade 12, Chemistry – Grade 11 or Grade 12, Mathematics – any Grade 12
- Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
