Program Description
As a Landscape Horticulture Techniques graduate, you are in high demand from a $7-billion industry with a growth rate of 14 per cent per year and a serious shortage of horticulturalists.
- The 125-acre Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake serves as a living lab including Ontario’s largest training greenhouse, newly renovated landscape design studio and computer lab, and a heated landscape workshop.
- Hands-on experiential learning and pride of work; Niagara College is Ontario’s only college where students are responsible for maintaining the campus landscape.

Other Requirements
- Grade 12 with 50% and above. Recommended Courses : Biology – Grade 11, Chemistry – Grade 11 or Grade 12, Mathematics – any Grade 12
- Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
