Program Description

As an Early Childhood Educator, you support early learning in a wide variety of educational programs and centres.
  • Over 600 hours of practical field placement experience with course work.
  • The opportunity to graduate with three additional certificates: Hanen Learning Language and Loving It; Quality Child Care Niagara; Red Cross Anti-Bullying Certificate.

  • Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
