Program Description
As a Photographer, you take portrait, commercial, fine art and event images and use the latest digital imaging software to edit/retouch images as needed.
- Students train their artistic eye and master digital imaging technologies to develop their individual style and a cutting-edge portfolio.
- Study practical entrepreneurial and business principles for a hands-on, real-life project approach to a diverse range of applied photography situations.
- Curriculum integrates leading-edge digital editing software.
- Extensive practical experience in the studio, digital darkroom, and on location.

Other Requirements
- Grade 12 with 50% and above. Recommended Courses : Visual Arts – Grade 11 or Grade 12
- Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
