Program Description
As a Community Pharmacy Assistant, working alongside a registered pharmacist and/or pharmacy technician, you are an integral part of the healthcare team that provides community pharmaceutical services.
- Enhanced learning experience in a simulated community pharmacy.
- Hands-on, applied learning gained through labs and field placement completed concurrently with academic studies.
- Build knowledge of the latest pharmaceutical products, practices and drug distribution systems.

- Grade 12 with 50% and above.
- Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
