Program Description

As a Business Administration – Accounting (Co-op) graduate you will have the knowledge and industry experience required to open doors to a successful professional accounting or financial management career.
  • Practical experience via a co-op work term and industry-related projects.
  • Hands-on, experiential learning via case studies, computer applications and role-playing.
  • Individualized support from professionally designated (CPA,CA, CPA,CMA, CPA,CGA, or CPA) accounting faculty.
  • Option to acquire a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation via diploma articulation to a qualifying degree program recognized by CPA Ontario.

Other Requirements

  • Grade 12 with 50% and above. English required.
  • Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. Recommended: Mathematics. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
