Program Description
As a Pre-Community Services graduate, you have determined your career goal and are well-prepared for academic success in postsecondary community service programs at Niagara College.
- Program is designed to meet individual needs and facilitate the transition to postsecondary education.
- Benefit from individual educational support and planning with assistance from an academic student advisor.
- Graduates may be eligible to receive limited transfer credits based on their chosen postsecondary program.
- Graduates have increased preparedness for community services programs at Niagara College.
Other Requirements
- Grade 12 with 50% or higher from a recognised institution. English required in Grade 12.
- Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
