Program Description
As a Business Administration – Accounting graduate, you possess the theoretical knowledge and skills needed for a professional accounting or financial management career in today’s fast-paced economy.
- Hands-on, experiential learning via case studies, computer applications and role-playing.
- Individualized support from professionally designated (CPA,CA, CPA,CMA, CPA,CGA, or CPA) accounting faculty.
- Network with industry leaders while working on course projects.
- Option to acquire a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation via diploma articulation to a qualifying degree program recognized by CPA Ontario.
Other Requirements
- Grade 12 with 50% and above. English required. Recommended: Business or Accounting & Mathematics.
- Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Education Gap:Student completed most recent studies within 5 years from start of the program (Example: if the program begins in 2018, applicants must have completed their last program of study no earlier than 2013 Student does not have more than 9 backlogs in university study. Recommended: Mathematics. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
