Program Description

As a Television Production graduate, you are well-equipped to produce a wide variety of broadcast coverage for traditional, online and streaming outlets.
  • Introduction to the radio, television, and film industries including hands-on learning opportunities offered in-studio and on-location and single and multi-camera training using the latest broadcast equipment.
  • Facilities include a radio production training lab, fully HD television studio, digital radio broadcast studio and a $1-million high-definition (HD) production truck.
  • LIVE weekly TV magazine show broadcasted and streamed in conjunction with TV Presentation students.
  • Immersive seven-week broadcast industry field placement.
  • High graduate employment rate.
  • Students apply to Broadcasting – Radio, Television and Film and select a program concentration during the first year of the program.

Other Requirements

  • Grade 12 with 50% or above from a recognised institution. Recommended Courses : Photography, audio/video production, drama, multimedia, art, creative writing.
  • Niagara College does not accept students from Open schooling and Distance Education System. Recommended: Mathematics. State Secondary School Board All required courses = 55% required & 10 + 2 English = 65% required. State Technical Education Board All required courses = 65% required, 10 + 2 English = 70% requied.
