Program Description
Our combined honours Biology and Environmental Science BSc will provide you with a breadth of knowledge and diverse skills across two exciting scientific subject areas.From assessing the effect of medication on the human body and exploring methods to prevent species extinction, to finding solutions to counter the devastating impact humans are having on the planet; many of society's biggest global challenges are connected to biology and environmental science. Studying environmental science will enable you to integrate scientific knowledge, and an awareness of social, economic and ethical issues, to address the management of the environment and problems such as water pollution and water resource scarcity. The biology component of this programme covers a range of fundamentals, as well as topics including physiology and anatomy, ecology and plant biology, and viruses and parasites.
FIELDWORK
From examining main rock types and their physical structures to geological mapping, fieldwork is embedded into core modules throughout your studies to ensure you graduate with key environmental science observation and interpretation skills.LEARN FROM OUR CAMPUS - OUR OWN 'LIVING LABORATORY'

- CISCE / CBSE / West Bengal Class XII: 60% - 90% required depending on course. Subjects Requirements : - Maths with 60% and English with 60% All other State Boards Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard Class XII: 65% - 95% required depending on course.Subjects Requirements : - Maths with 60% and English with 60% 2 years of study must have been completed.
- For IELTS Waiver : CISCE/CBSE Class XII: 70% or above. All other State Boards Class XII (except Punjab or Mohali School Education Board): 75% or above in English, depending on course.Study should be taught in English. Otherwise IELTS is required.
