Program Description
Throughout this degree, you develop skills in all key electronic engineering areas, including analogue and digital electronics; signal processing; sensors; digital communications; software engineering; and embedded programming. You learn via a combination of theoretical learning, high-quality learning materials and hands-on, practical experience, quickly becoming adept at solving real-world engineering problems.This course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council, fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.

Accreditations
- Our Electronic Engineering courses are currently accredited by the IET up to and including 2022-23 intake.
- Our next accreditation visit is due in spring 2024 and upon successful visit, IET accreditation will continue for another 5 years; this includes our AY23-24 intake. University accreditation process takes place periodically to ensure universities' programmes meet the requirements of the Engineering Council UK, and universities continuously offer a high standard of education.
