Program Description
The BA Tourism Management programme is a progression route for those with a HND in a tourism related subject and is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to work in one of the most exciting global industries.You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of national and international tourism management theory and strategies. You can tailor your degree to focus on areas that are related to your future career aspirations. Guest speakers and engagement with partners from organisations including VisitScotland and People Make Glasgow help inform course content and support career progression.Graduates from this programme have gone on to pursue a range of careers in tourism and are continuing to shape the sector’s future in a variety of supervisor and management roles.Other Requirements
- Require SQA HND / BTEC Level 5 HND: Tourism or Travel & Tourism or SQA HND / BTEC Level 5 HND: Events Management or Hospitality or Hospitality Management will be considered if they contain the following module: Introduction to Tourism or Foundation Degree: relevant Business discipline.
- 70% in Class XII English and the certificate should be not be more than 8 years old at the time of making the application.No MOI letter would be accepted henceforth.However, please note that students will require an IELTS or equivalent, if applying from the following School Education Boards: 1. Punjab Board,2. Haryana Board,3. Uttar Pradesh (UP) Board or4. Jammu & Kashmir (J & K) Board.
