Program Description
UWS’s BA Journalism will teach you everything you need to know to become a savvy, multimedia-skilled journalist and reporter. Learn the skills to drop the latest breaking news story.Underpinned by theoretical insight into ethical and effective journalism, you’ll study news reporting, develop interview techniques, and hone your writing skills to meet the practical demands of today’s fast-paced news environment.You’ll also have the option to specialise in either Sports or Magazine Journalism as you progress through the programme.Other Requirements
- Require SQA HND / BTEC Level 5 HND / Foundation Degree / DipHE: Journalism or Practical Journalism or Communication with Media or another relevant discipline.
- All applicants will be expected to submit a strong personal statement and reference. • Applicants may be invited for interview.
- 70% in Class XII English and the certificate should be not be more than 8 years old at the time of making the application.No MOI letter would be accepted henceforth.However, please note that students will require an IELTS or equivalent, if applying from the following School Education Boards: 1. Punjab Board,2. Haryana Board,3. Uttar Pradesh (UP) Board or4. Jammu & Kashmir (J & K) Board.
