Program Description

This innovative and dynamic three-year midwifery programme will enable you to become a highly educated and skilled midwife with the potential for management, leadership, consultancy, educational and research roles.You will be given opportunities to embrace new challenges that shape the future of maternity services for women, newborn infants and their families.

Applying to the MSc

You must apply through UCAS for this course as it is classed as an undergraduate Masters course - the UCAS code is B722 (see Apply section below for more details).

Other Requirements

  •  Require a first degree, Provide a personal/employer reference, Provide an academic reference and formal University transcript/certificate, Provide a statement of support (max 500 words), Provide evidence of possessing a qualification in Mathematics such as SQA National 5 Mathematics at Grade C, or above. 
  • Entry is also dependent on you successfully passing the following: Health screening, Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme background check, Personal interview.
  • 70% in Class XII English and the certificate should be not be more than 8 years old at the time of making the application.No MOI letter would be accepted henceforth.However, please note that students will require an IELTS or equivalent, if applying from the following School Education Boards: 1. Punjab Board,2. Haryana Board,3. Uttar Pradesh (UP) Board or4. Jammu & Kashmir (J & K) Board.
