Program Description
The Master of European and International Law (MEIL) is a one-year program for international students offered at the China-EU School of Law in Beijing. Students learn about various European and international areas of law as well as peculiarities of the Chinese legal system. The entire program, involving economic, cultural and historical aspects, is interdisciplinary. Subject areas include law and politics in the EU, European corporate law and an introduction to Chinese law.

Applicants to the master's program must fulfill the following requirements:
- First degree in law (LLB, Staatsexamen or equivalent).
- If English is not their native language: They must prove that they have sufficient English language skills from a relevant BA program or they must have at least 100 points on a web-based TOEFL test or 603 points in a print version or at least 7.0 points on the IELTS exam or a University of Cambridge ESOL examination certificate (Certificate in Advanced English).
