Program Description
BEng (Hons) Aircraft Engineering has been designed in partnership with the aerospace industry, and will provide you with the skills required to work effectively in the aircraft design, manufacturing, aerodynamic and structural design and repair and overhaul sectors. Aircraft engineers are responsible for the safety of thousands of air passengers every year. They play a critical role in the design and certification of an airworthy aircraft in accordance with aviation standards. Designed in partnership with aerospace industry employers, this course includes visits to organisations such as Spirit AeroSystems and British Airways. A number of final year projects are also undertaken in collaboration with industry.Other Requirements
- Minimum of 60% or above in 12th Std, Entry Clearance Officers (ECO) will ask to see your ATAS certificate as part of your visa application process.
- If you are initially registered and enrolled on the BEng (Hons) course, and meet the performance requirements in years 1, 2 and 3 you may be eligible to transfer onto the MEng (Hons) in Year 4.70% in Class XII English and the certificate should be not be more than 8 years old at the time of making the application.No MOI letter would be accepted henceforth.However, please note that students will require an IELTS or equivalent, if applying from the following School Education Boards: 1. Punjab Board,2. Haryana Board,3. Uttar Pradesh (UP) Board or4. Jammu & Kashmir (J & K) Board.
