Program Description

This taught programme is designed for Graduates who want to practise overseas and don’t need an RTPI accredited qualification.You’ll not only gain a good understanding of town and regional planning but will also be able to tailor your studies to reflect your needs and interests, in consultation with the Programme Director.Three pathways are available for the MATRP: Pathway A (Spatial Planning), Pathway B (Urban Design) and Pathway C (Spatial Modelling). You’ll choose from a range of postgraduate planning modules and will prepare a dissertation (60 credits).

Other Requirements

  • The normal entry requirement for all our postgraduate programmes is a good first degree (2:1) or above, in a related area from an approved university or equivalent. Applications from those with non traditional qualifications and relevant work experience are also welcomed and will be considered on their individual merits.
  • For IELTS Waive off , you require 70% and above in English in Standard XII for CBSE/CISCE/WB/Karnataka/Maharashtra/TamilNadu/Andhra Pradesh/Kerala/Telangana/Goa/Delhi/Sikkhim/Gujarat/Meghalaya boards..Three-year Bachelor's degrees like BComs can be accepted, but sometimes the content covered in such degrees does not provide adequate grounding for our more specialised programmes such as MSc Finance.We also accept, as evidence of English language skills, an undergraduate degree from one of the following Indian universities (including affiliated colleges): Anna University Mumbai University Pune University Bangalore University University of Delhi University of Madras Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT)
