Program Description
This one-year full-time taught MSc programme (or up to six years part-time) will equip you for a career in any industry involving radiation and radiation detectors.We cover basic radiation principles, the use of detection systems and associated instrumentation applications, and modelling. There’s a strong focus on practicals and laboratory-based techniques.You’ll be able to carry out a project, often in industry, making you even more employable in sectors such as nuclear power, medicine, environmental protection, oil and mining, and health and safety.The programme consists of a number of one-week modules which you can select to best meet your needs. These modules are organised into four groups:-- Foundation
- Basic
- Applied
- Project and Dissertation.
Other Requirements
- The MSc programmes require applicants to have completed a degree in a Physical Science (or closely related subject). Relevant industrial experience can be an alternative, subject to references. The MRes programme requires applicants to have completed a degree in a Physical or Engineering Science (or closely related subject).
- For IELTS Waive off , you require 70% and above in English in Standard XII for CBSE/CISCE/WB/Karnataka/Maharashtra/TamilNadu/Andhra Pradesh/Kerala/Telangana/Goa/Delhi/Sikkhim/Gujarat/Meghalaya boards..Three-year Bachelor's degrees like BComs can be accepted, but sometimes the content covered in such degrees does not provide adequate grounding for our more specialised programmes such as MSc Finance.We also accept, as evidence of English language skills, an undergraduate degree from one of the following Indian universities (including affiliated colleges): Anna University Mumbai University Pune University Bangalore University University of Delhi University of Madras Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT)
