Program Description

Studying Mathematics at Liverpool is an excellent foundation for a wide range of careers. This four year programme means you will graduate with a Master's qualification and is the ideal path to a PhD or industry research post. You will also have the option to spend an academic year abroad on this course.

The modules studied in year one help to get all students at the same level, studying fundamental ideas and reinforcing A level work.This programme also has a year abroad option, an incredible opportunity to spend an academic year at one of our partner universities.Students graduating from this programme are well placed to go on to a PhD or take a research post in industry.

Other Requirements

  • Successful completion of examinations at standard X and XII (Higher Secondary School Certificate) with minimum marks of approximately 70 to 85%, according to the course and exam board.Please note: Sometimes your offer will be made on condition of you achieving an overall score in your XII standard exams, while some programmes will ask for specific scores in certain subjects. As such, any subject-specific requirements will reflect the overall percentage required (eg. 85% in best four subjects, including 85% in Maths), along with the individual score for each subject.
  • For IELTS Waive off , you require 70% and above in English in Standard XII for CBSE/CISCE/WB/Karnataka/Maharashtra/TamilNadu/Andhra Pradesh/Kerala/Telangana/Goa/Delhi/Sikkhim/Gujarat/Meghalaya boards.
