Program Description
Studying this programme provides a route into any of the BEng degree programmes currently available in the School of Engineering.
INTRODUCTION
You will undertake a foundation year (year zero) at Carmel College, St Helens, about nine miles from the university campus, where the class sizes are small and the standards of academic achievement high.The programme, which is moderated by University staff, comprises introductory modules in Physics and Mathematics, with students choosing a third optional module from Chemistry or Information Technology. In year two, three and four, students follow their chosen course from a number of available Engineering programmes.
Other Requirements
- Successful completion of examinations at standard X and XII (Higher Secondary School Certificate) with minimum marks of approximately 70 to 85%, according to the course and exam board.
- For IELTS Waive off , you require 70% and above in English in Standard XII for CBSE/CISCE/WB/Karnataka/Maharashtra/TamilNadu/Andhra Pradesh/Kerala/Telangana/Goa/Delhi/Sikkhim/Gujarat/Meghalaya boards.
