Program Description

Electrical engineering is not simply about the production and transmission of electrical energy, but also about how it is used. In both its transmission and usage there are significant and increasing challenges facing electrical engineers, many related to sustainability and the environment.This programme is designed for students with an interest in communications engineering and associated electronics, covering a wide range of topics in electronic and communications engineering.You will learn through the practical application of concepts and theory, always with awareness of their relevance to the real world.This programme includes a placement year, during which you will spend time working in an engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical engineering experience.Electrical and Electronic Engineering students graduate with skills sought after by a wide range of employers who are actively seeking engineers.

Other Requirements

  • Successful completion of examinations at standard X and XII (Higher Secondary School Certificate) with minimum marks of approximately 70 to 85%, according to the course and exam board.Please note: Sometimes your offer will be made on condition of you achieving an overall score in your XII standard exams, while some programmes will ask for specific scores in certain subjects. As such, any subject-specific requirements will reflect the overall percentage required (eg. 85% in best four subjects, including 85% in Maths), along with the individual score for each subject.
  • For IELTS Waive off , you require 70% and above in English in Standard XII for CBSE/CISCE/WB/Karnataka/Maharashtra/TamilNadu/Andhra Pradesh/Kerala/Telangana/Goa/Delhi/Sikkhim/Gujarat/Meghalaya boards.
