Program Description
Studying Economics at Liverpool will enable you to build a thorough understanding of the current economic and financial issues. You will also have the option to select either of our two programme pathways: Economics or Finance.Our Economics BSc with a Year in Industry programme will develop your analytical skills and will provide you with comprehensive training in, and practical application of, the theoretical and quantitative tools used in the study of economics and finance in addition to having the option to choose this subject as a combined degree.From your first year of study you will start to build a strong foundation in economics, statistics and mathematics and upon successful completion of your final year you will have a thorough understanding of a wide range of theoretical tools used in economics and where applicable, in finance.Other Requirements
- Successful completion of examinations at standard X and XII (Higher Secondary School Certificate) with minimum marks of approximately 70 to 85%, according to the course and exam board.Please note: Sometimes your offer will be made on condition of you achieving an overall score in your XII standard exams, while some programmes will ask for specific scores in certain subjects. As such, any subject-specific requirements will reflect the overall percentage required (eg. 85% in best four subjects, including 85% in Maths), along with the individual score for each subject.
- For IELTS Waive off , you require 70% and above in English in Standard XII for CBSE/CISCE/WB/Karnataka/Maharashtra/TamilNadu/Andhra Pradesh/Kerala/Telangana/Goa/Delhi/Sikkhim/Gujarat/Meghalaya boards.
