Program Description

The postgraduate taught programmes in International Human Rights Law are advanced courses of study which provide students with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the far-reaching impact of international law on international relations, with a special emphasis on human rights issues and their relevance to domestic law.Active research interests of staff ensure specifically tailored and distinctive modules, and delivery sometimes takes place with visiting speakers invited to give seminars on the programme.

  • Applicants for the Law postgraduate taught programmes should normally hold a minimum of a 2:1 class Honours Degree in Law (BA or LLB), or in a relevant degree subject, including: Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy, International Relations, Banking, Management Studies, Humanities, Social Sciences, Economics from a UK university. For the Medicine & Healthcare pathway, applicants can have first degree with a medical background.
  • For IELTS Waive off , you require 70% and above in English in Standard XII for CBSE/CISCE/WB/Karnataka/Maharashtra/TamilNadu/Andhra Pradesh/Kerala/Telangana/Goa/Delhi/Sikkhim/Gujarat/Meghalaya boards..Three-year Bachelor's degrees like BComs can be accepted, but sometimes the content covered in such degrees does not provide adequate grounding for our more specialised programmes such as MSc Finance.We also accept, as evidence of English language skills, an undergraduate degree from one of the following Indian universities (including affiliated colleges): Anna University Mumbai University Pune University Bangalore University University of Delhi University of Madras Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT)
